Job Overview
As the Sales Manager at Level-7 Internet, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our entire sales department. You will supervise and motivate sales staff across multiple divisions, ensuring that team performance aligns with the company’s goals. You will oversee the development and execution of sales strategies, manage pricing and promotions and deliver insightful reports on sales trends. In addition to internal sales management, you will also be responsible for overseeing customer service, cancellations and retention efforts to ensure client satisfaction and long-term relationships. This role requires a strong leadership presence, a deep understanding of the ISP industry and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with external partners, including FNOs and resellers.

Qualifications & Skills
Education, Certifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales Management, Communications or related fields.
- 3 – 5 years of proven experience in a sales management role.
- Demonstrated success in leading sales teams to achieve targets and KPIs.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, pricing strategies and cost management.
- Expertise in forecasting and strategic planning.
- Experience in managing relationships with external partners.
- Experience working in an ISP or telecommunications environment is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Team Leadership
- Supervise, guide and motivate all sales staff in their respective roles and divisions to meet and exceed KPIs and performance targets.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to sales staff to enhance their performance and professional development.
- Ensure the sales team is aligned with company objectives and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and high performance.
- Address any performance issues or conflicts within the team promptly and effectively.
Training
- Train new members of the sales team, ensuring that new hires are fully equipped to succeed in their roles.
- Develop and implement training programmes to ensure sales staff have the skills and knowledge needed to achieve their professional goals.
- Provide continuous training on product offerings, sales techniques and customer relationship management.
Sales Operations Management
- Ensure a cohesive workflow within the Sales Department by managing internal processes and collaborating with other departments to streamline communication and operations.
- Facilitate smooth procedural transitions and foster interdepartmental cooperation to ensure efficient handling of customer orders and service delivery.
- Develop, implement and enforce all departmental procedures and policies to maintain consistency and efficiency within the sales team.
- Address customer complaints, escalation or complex service issues in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Pricing & Financial Management
- Oversee service price adjustments and manage relevant price lists to ensure competitive and profitable pricing strategies.
- Ensure that all service packages and offerings are correctly priced to optimise profit margins while remaining competitive in the market.
- Review and analyse all custom deals or discounts offered to ensure they are financially feasible and in line with company goals.
Sales & Reporting Analysis
- Collect data on sales trends, including new sales, cancellations and retention and create comprehensive sales trend reports to present to the company directors.
- Analyse sales trend reports to identify opportunities, challenges and market shifts and advise the company on how to react to changing conditions.
- Provide regular updates to company directors on sales performance, market trends and other key metrics to drive informed decision-making.
Sales Pipeline & Customer Service
- Monitor sales pipelines to ensure consistent progress, identifying opportunities and ensuring that customer service levels are maintained.
- Ensure sales staff follow up on leads, track progress and close sales in a timely and effective manner.
- Drive sales initiatives to attract new business and internal sales, ensuring the company achieves its revenue goals.
Negotiation & Project Management
- Manage and negotiate large quotes and projects, ensuring that customer needs are met while maintaining profitability.
- Collaborate with service providers, customers and internal teams to successfully deliver large-scale projects and services.
Service Audits & Quality Control
- Occasionally audit services to verify customer data against active lines, review costs of active lines and identify opportunities to optimise services and cost efficiency.
- Ensure that services delivered to customers meet high standards of quality and align with the company’s operational goals.
Marketing Collaboration
- Liaise with company directors and the marketing department to develop and implement new marketing concepts and campaigns.
- Provide regular feedback to company directors on the results and effectiveness of marketing efforts, adjusting strategies to optimise sales outcomes.
Ad-Hoc Duties
- Perform any additional duties or special projects as required by the company, contributing to overall business development and team success.
