Job Overview

As a Sales Agent at Level-7 Internet, you will be responsible for responding to customer queries and managing the sales process. This role involves administrative tasks, follow-up on sales leads and coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues, all while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
This role is open to candidates of all backgrounds and abilities.

Qualifications & Skills

Education, Certifications & Experience

  • National Senior Certificate (Matric or equivalent)
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in an ISP or telecommunications environment.
  • A sound technical knowledge to assist in hardware sales is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in upselling is an advantage.
  • Financial literacy with a strong understanding of financial processes, with the ability to accurately draft invoices and quotes.

Skills & Competencies

  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
  • An additional language would be highly beneficial.
  • Excellent communication skills with professional telephone etiquette.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing exceptional experience to customers.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Query Management

  • Respond to incoming telephone calls and ticket system queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Provide accurate information regarding services, pricing and promotions.
  • Handle general sales queries, providing solutions and assistance to ensure a positive customer experience.

Sales Process Coordination

  • Coordinate the sales process between customers and the Customer Service Team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of services.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams to streamline service delivery.

Reseller Account Management

  • Manage and support resellers by handling new sign-ups, relocations and conversions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of reseller orders and account modifications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with resellers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Office Administration

  • Handle general office administration tasks, including sending out contracts, quotations and relevant service documentation to customers.
  • Ensure all records, including sales leads, communications and sales contracts are accurately documented.

Sales Follow-Up

  • Follow up on sales leads and convert prospects into customers.
  • Maintain an organised pipeline of leads, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-ups.

Hardware Sales & Upselling

  • Proactively promote and upsell hardware to customers.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue through hardware sales, ensuring customers are aware of the full range of products available.
  • Collaborate with technical, customer service and administrative departments to resolve technical issues and address customer queries.

Collaboration with Other Departments

  • Ensure seamless communication between departments to facilitate the resolution of any problems that may arise during the sales or service delivery process.

Ad-Hoc Duties

  • Perform any additional duties as required by the company, including assisting with special projects or promotional campaigns.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, customer support or sales activities as needed to meet company goals.
