Job Overview
As an Operations Assistant at Level-7 Internet, you are involved in coordinating day-to-day operations, scheduling customer jobs, assisting with stock management and supporting the Technicians on site.
This role is open to candidates of all backgrounds and abilities.
Qualifications & Skills
Education, Certifications & Experience
- National Senior Certificate (Matric or equivalent)
- Previous experience in an ISP or telecommunications environment is highly beneficial.
- A valid drivers license is essential for travel to customers premises and logistics coordination.
Skills & Competencies
- Bilingual in English and Afrikaans (both spoken and written).
- Computer literate.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and router configuration.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Able to work well independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently.
- Proactive, reliable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to problem solve and handle customer queries in a professional manner.

- Experience in coordinating equipment, teams and service schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Coordination
- Contact customers to schedule installation jobs, service calls and other required activities.
- Ensure that appointments are well-coordinated with customers and technicians, ensuring smooth operations and timely service delivery.
- Oversee and manage service calls for customers, ensuring their issues are resolved efficiently.
Router Configuration & Packing
- Configure routers to ensure proper setup and connectivity.
- Package routers and other equipment for courier dispatch.
- Create waybills and manage courier processes to ensure timely delivery of customer equipment.
Stock Management
- Assist in inventory management, including stock takes, tracking and maintaining stock levels.
- Assist in the daily assignment of stock and equipment to technicians, ensuring that all necessary equipment is available.
- Support asset tracking, monitor the condition of equipment and tools and report discrepancies as needed.
- Assist in the receiving, inspecting and collecting of stock from suppliers and customers as required.
Administrative Tasks
- Manage job cards, update ticketing systems and assist in tracking job progress to ensure timely job completion.
- Handle general service-related tasks, including remote troubleshooting and managing customer queries.
- Assist with resolving customer-related conflicts and issues, escalating when necessary.
- Perform checks on job completion, inventory and stock levels to ensure accurate records.
Ad-Hoc Duties
- Assist with miscellaneous duties as required by the company, including but not limited to:
- building maintenance coordination.
- equipment troubleshooting (e.g. faulty headsets).
